Body Shop British Rose Range Review

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would have caught up with my previous post on Body Shop's Mother's Day Event and British Rose Range Launch. I was kindly gifted with a super generous selection of products from the range including makeup. I have tried them out for almost a month and I thought it would be amazing to share my thoughts on them. For reference, I was given the following:  British Rose Shower Gel*, British Rose Petal Soft Bath Foam*, British Rose Body Essence*, British Rose Body Butter*,  British Rose Eau de Toilette*, British Rose Eye and Cheek Palette*, British Rose Lip and Cheek Tint* and Colour Crush Nail Polish in British Rose*. I felt absolutely spoilt as you would imagine. I attended the event with my friend and she also got a generous British Rose Gift Set which she adores particularly the Body Butter (one of my faves as well).

British Range Overview
The roses used in this range are responsibly sourced here in the UK from UK Farmers which is very commendable. They are organic roses that are hand-picked and air dried.  The best part is that fresh mountain water is used in the distillation process of the pure rose essence so you can be sure you are getting the most amazing quality. I guess this is why the fragrance used in the range just hits the right spot by not being too light or too sickly sweet/floral. I absolutely adore the fragrance and even if you hate roses, you would actually like this one . I recommend giving them a try when next you are in Body Shop. You can shop the entire range here.  According to The Body Shop, the range is designed to provide a beautiful glow to the skin while upping hydration levels.  I believe there are eight products in the British Rose body care range and they include: Instant Glow Body Essence*Instant Glow Body Butter*, Exfoliating Gel Body ScrubEau de Toilette*Exfoliating Soap, Shower Gel*Petal Soft Bath Foam* and Petal Soft Hand CreamThey are also some makeup in the range including the British Rose Cheek and Eye Palette* and the Lip and Cheek Stain*  (Bright Peony) and the Color Crush Nail Color* (British Rose 350) which are all absolutely amazing.

Packaging
I know I have mentioned this before but Body Shop has been killing it  recently with their packaging. The British Rose packaging is a good mixture of various shades of pink and black . It's an absolutely delightful mix of colours that are very feminine, delicate and yet sophisticated; just like a rose. Apart from the colours, the packaging in itself is very sturdy and well made. I have travelled with a few of them and I have not experienced any problems at all. I particularly love that the Body Essence has a safety lock system so it can't be spilled even if something else rests on it.  I am very impressed!!

British Rose Shower Gel*// Link//£5.00
I am very obsessed with Shower Gels generally and it's a little crazy in my bathroom at the moment. I won't say I go through bottles and bottles of shower gels but I do love to try different ones every now and again. The British Rose Shower Gel smells so fresh and I love how the fragrance lightly lingers after I take my bath. It lathers really well and my little sponge does the rest of the job. I wish it had a pump so I don't have to pour it out in the shower. However, the lid is really secure and it dispenses the product easily (minimal waste). I can't fault this at all and it's a lovely Spring Shower Gel.

British Rose Petal Soft  Bath Foam*// Link// £8.00
Most Shower Gels I own can be used both as Bath Gels/Foams,  however I am so delighted that Body Shop developed a stand alone bath foam. The winning point is its incredibly soft creamy texture. It's not called Pearly-Soft Bath Foam for nothing as it feels very luxurious. I just pour a good amount in the bath, add in a few extra bath essentials and soak in to the most indulgent bath. Seriously, it has taken the quality of my bath time up to a notch. I always used my usual bath and shower gels but there is something so different about using this pearly bath foam. Most importantly, it does not leave my body soapy at all which I am very pleased with. Similar to the shower gel, it leaves a lovely light fragrance on my skin which I maximise by using the rest of the range.

British Rose Body Essence*// Link //£15.00
If you read my Drops of Youth Range Review, you would have seen that I was very obsessed with the Youth Essence. You can imagine my sheer delight seeing that the Body Shop had launched a similar product but for the Body (a Body Essence). Basically, I secretly christened this product as a toner for the body mainly because it prepares my body for the rest of my body care. The texture feels so refreshing on my skin and I have been tempted to use it on my face (but I haven't yet; I can't say what would happen when the weather gets warmer). It feels like I am using pure rose essence on my body mixed with the lightest moisturiser ever. It does not feel greasy at all and it is the perfect prep for my body. If you are always concerned about greasy moisturisers and you hate them, this is one product you would love particularly if you leave in a tropics or any area with hot weather. This is also one of my favourite product from the range!!

British Rose Body Butter*// Link // £14 (There is a smaller size for £5)
Body Shop unarguably make one of the best Body Butters and I have not come across anyone who hates their Body Butters.  They have such a wonderful texture and they are super moisturising. I was not expecting any different from the British Rose Body Butter. It is amazing and I have gone through it really quickly (and messily as seen in the picture above). I feel the texture is so much more creamier than all the other Body Butters I have tried and I love it. Again, it smells so beautifully of Roses and it is a perfect moisturiser for Spring. I can't fault it at all and I would recommend trying it out whenever you are in Body Shop.

British Rose Eau de Toilette*// Link //£19.00
I think this was one product I was most delighted to try because I love fragrances and it did not disappoint me at all. It smells exactly like the Rose Fragrance you have always dreamt off. You know the type that definitely smells fresh and not sickly or too strong. As mentioned earlier, it hits the right note and I feel it is one fragrance I can wear all year round. However, it seems perfect for Spring and I have been wearing it a lot.. The major ingredient and note is Roses (of course) and I love it. I have also been layering it with other fragrances from Body Shop and other brands. The best layering mix is with the Black Musk and you guys, it is so beautiful. I have now proceeded to mixing my own special mix in my Travalo decanter using equal portions of both fragrances. It's such a fresh and sexy scent and no one can ever guess what I am wearing.

British Rose Makeup*// Link
I have not tried a lot of makeup from Body Shop but I am very pleased that they have recently been catering to a wide range of skin tones. The British Rose Eye and Cheek Palette* (£20.00) is made up eyeshadows and blushes. I really wanted to like this palette because it looks so perfect for Spring but it is not the most flattering for my complexion. I would be passing it on to a better home because I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes so no point keeping one I won't use often.  I am still tempted to keep it because some of the colours look lovely on me and I do like the blushes but I know one of my friends who would love this palette. The eyeshadows themselves are better pigmented when you use either a primer or a base eyeshadow and I have tried it a couple of times with good results. If you have a lighter complexion than me and you prefer really light makeup, you would love this palette. The packaging though is so gorgeous and it has such a good sized mirror for makeup application.

The next makeup product is the British Rose Lip and Cheek Tint* (£12.00) which is my favourite of the lot. I received the shade Bright Peony and it is the prettiest shade ever. It is one of the longest lasting tints I have tried and believe me, it does not budge (even when I eat and drink). It feels like a light liquid, applies easily with the doe foot applicator and stays put. I like that it does not set immediately so you have time to amend any mistakes. It's a pretty colour that I would definitely wear all year round and I am so impressed with the formula, wear and shade. The packaging is also super cute so you can pop it easily in your makeup bag.

Last but not least is the Colour Crush Nail Polish (British Rose)*  (£5.00) which is the perfect My Nails But Sexier shade. It is a pale light pink/rose shade which applies so easily. If you are into natural or nude shades, you would love this colour. It is surprisingly long lasting given that it is a very light formula and I used only one coat. I am very impressed and I think I need to check out some other Color Crush Nail Polishes.

Overall Thoughts
I feel extremely lucky to have been gifted a large selection of products from the Body Shop British Range. They smell so beautiful and I can totally understand why it was launched around Mother's Day. It is the perfect treat for any Mother and in fact,  any female (regardless of their age). I have enjoyed trying them out and I can't pick out which one I love the most. Perhaps the Body Essence and Body Butter and maybe the Eau de Toilette and Lip and Cheek Tint. Okay, I told you I can't make up my mind. They are all gorgeous and you do need to check them out in-store. Body Shop is known for  giving out lovely samples to try out so don't be shy to ask. That's pretty much my review. I hope you enjoyed this post and I would see you in my next post. Have you tried the British Rose Range?

Sachajuan Hair Care Review

It has definitely been a moment since I wrote anything about hair or hair care. The truth is I am super low maintenance with my hair. I just do the basics and I am done but I don’t think that’s the best. These past few months I have changed up my hair care routine and cared for my hair in general a bit more than usual. My hair is an afro texture which I adore as it has coils and curls. If you are into afro natural hair, you may have heard of the classifications. I am not sure what the system is called but it uses numbers and letters. I have 4b and 4c texture which basically means my hair has some tighter curls and coils and looser ones. That’s the basic bumf of my hair texture. Many people with afro hair may also have dry hair because the tight curls/coils  sometimes makes it difficult for water, oils and other nutrients travel up easily through the hair. However, there are many ways to ensure that this does not happen but that's another post for another day. My hair is definitely dry so I always opt for moisturising formulas in hair care. Although my hair could get quite dry if I don’t give it a lot of love, its actual texture is  really soft (I know it's hard to believe as it is dry).  That’s just a little history about my hair so you can understand how delighted I have been with the Sachajuan Hair Care Products I have been trying since last year. I was super lucky to be sent a large selection of products which I absolutely love. I am currently obsessed with Scandi beauty brands as they are simply amazing.

Sachajuan Hair Care Overview
I am sure many people would have heard about Sachajuan at some point especially if you watch YouTube or read blogs. Their Ocean Mist is a favourite among many and now that I have tried their products, I can understand the obsession. The hair care brand was founded in 20004  by Sacha Mitic and Juan Rosenlind. They are professional hairdressers with a vast experience in hair styling and fashion both in Sweden (their home country) and around the globe. Before 2004, they had already opened their popular Hair Salon in 1997 which looks absolutely incredible and I would love to visit whenever I am in Sweden. Apparently, it was a former Art Gallery which they renovated into a hair salon and it looks so gorgeous and very Instagramable. You can check out their salons here. The Sachajuan's essence is about simplicity and function in perfect harmony with quality and function. Their essence is totally captured in their products (even down to their packaging) and the experience you feel when using them. The active ingredients and technology behind their products is called the "Ocean Silk Technology". This technology involves extracting valuable proteins and minerals from Sea Algae and combining them with other active ingredients to develop outstanding products. I absolutely love their story which you can check out here.

Packaging
You all know me and my love for packaging  and presentation which is everything to me and more. I absolutely love the minimalist packaging of all the Sachajuan products.  They just look very aesthetically pleasing and very practical at the same time. Another reason I love the packaging is that they are unisex so they are suitable for all genders. Majority of thee Sachajuan products are housed in sturdy plastic bottles (some come with pumps which I always love). A few of them are housed in glass bottles e.g. the Sachajuan Protective Hair Perfume and the Overnight Hair Repair. The Overnight Hair Repair just looks too beautiful to just be hair care.  I can’t think of anything else to say except that it’s one of the best hair packaging I have ever owned or used. I received 6 products which include: The Intensive Repair Shampoo*, Intensive Repair Conditioner*, Hair Cleansing Cream*, Hair Repair*, Protective Hair Perfume* and Overnight Hair Repair*. I feel extremely lucky and grateful to have been sent such an array of impressive products which I have enjoyed using through the year.

Sachajuan Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner*// Link // £20
I already mentioned my hair is dehydrated and quite dry so I was very delighted to see this shampoo and conditioner labelled as Intensive Repair. The Sachajuan Intensive Repair range uses their patented Ocean Silk Technology combined with UV protectants to provide maximum protection and intensive care. The shampoo and conditioner come in 250 ml bottles which may sound small but I need the littlest amount for my entire head. I usually section my hair into four little sections/buns as it’s the easiest way to avoid any tangling. The Intensive  Repair Shampoo* (£20) is slightly creamy and lightly lathers which I prefer. It almost feels like I am co-washing my hair as it has the same softening effect as using just a conditioner. It smells absolutely divine like I have been playing at the seaside. I just work the shampoo through the four sections and rinse it off. I am a huge fan of this shampoo because it cleans my hair with minimal effort. I am particularly pleased that it does not strip my hair and it is one of the best I have tried (it's not a sulfate-free formula but it feels/works exactly like one). Once I am done with shampooing, I follow up with the Intensive Repair Conditioner* (£22) which is very similar to the shampoo. It smells so lovely and I love the way it hugs my hair. As the name suggests, it is an intensive repair conditioner so it is designed to provide an intense hydration and repair to the dry and dehydrated hair like mine. I leave this on for a little while before rinsing off and the softness I get afterwards is absolutely amazing.

Sachajuan Hair Cleansing Cream*// Link // £28
I don't wash my hair everyday like many people do because it is mainly in protective styling e.g brainds, extensions, etc . However, I do aim to wash it every week (I know it sounds gross but it just works well for my hair). If you have an afro, you would understand that washing your hair everyday is not the best for our hair type. Anyway, I digress as usual. However, it is different with my hair extensions. I don’t deep wash and condition them every week but I ensure I clean them. One way to do this effectively is using the Sachajuan Hair Cleansing Cream which is such a joy to use both on my natural hair and extensions. As the name suggests, it feels like a cream that you apply normally to the hair. I do feel like it combines the effectiveness of shampoo and conditioner hence the name cleansing cream. It is the quickest way to refresh your hair without going the whole hog of washing and conditioning. I love that it comes in such a lovely big bottle complete with a pump. If you prefer to wash your hair every day but you can’t be bothered, this is your guy. It is quick, easy and provides the same freshness as freshly washed hair. It removes any grease that may be lurking around from hair products and I am really pleased I got a chance to test it out. I think it is actually the best for my hair extensions because it keeps it clean without taking away any of its natural lustre (as it does not grow from my scalp so no nutrients). It may seem pricey but you are getting 500 ml worth of product and believe me, it lasts for a super looooong time.

Sachajuan Hair Repair*// Link // £23
Now, this is the little magic bottle that knocked me off my socks. The Sachajuan Hair Repair and my natural afro hair are best friends for real. My dry and dehydrated hair is now where to be seen after I have used this little gem. I use it straight after the Sachajuan Intensive Shampoo and Conditioner and I leave it for a good while so it works better. I just pop it on to the four sections of my hair and pop on a shower cap. Ideally, I would leave it on for 30 minutes or a little less if I am in a rush. Either ways, it has always yielded amazing results. I can’t put into words how it transforms my hair but it keeps it really, really soft, fresh and ready for any styling. My curls are popping and looks so fresh. If you have an afro or curly hair, you would absolutely love how it refreshes your curls and I wish I could leave it on my hair forever but alas! I have to rinse it out . I love using this product a lot and the general look of my hair is so much better.

Sachajuan Hair Protective Perfume // Link //£40
Isn't it the most delightful thing to have a perfume specifically created for the hair? Hands up if you have ever used a regular perfume on your hair? No hands, just me then. Well, I do have to admit I may have spritz my hair (on a few occasions) with my regular perfume in the past because I wanted to smell sexy. As you would imagine, it's not the best for the hair at all. Well, the good news is those days are far behind me with the entry of the Sachajuan Protective Hair Perfume. I wish I was good at describing scents but you all know it's not one of ,my strongest points but I would try. It smells exactly like a beautiful day in the ocean with a light smell of your favourite man's cologne. Very weird description but I guess we associate perfumes/scents with the feelings they evoke within us. It smells incredible and lasts for a super long time. It's quite concentrated so you need the littlest amount for your entire head. I am so pleased with the way it sprays its mist as it is evenly distributed around my hair. Sometimes, I am stuck in the kitchen cooking meals for the week and my hair smells less than impressive. I follow up with washing my hair and sprizing this lovely hair perfume and it just makes my hair smell so beautiful and sexy. Do you know the best part? It can also be used as a perfume for the body and I absolutely love it. It is not cheap at all; in fact it can be classified as quite expensive. However, it also has protective properties for the hair so it is not just a pretty face/bottle. At the time of taking this picture, I had used it for almost a month and yet I still had a lot left. This is one I know I would definitely repurchase because I feel very happy using it. I love it!!

Sachajuan Overnight Hair Repair// Link //£35
This is the latest addition to my stash and I think it looks the prettiest. It comes in a beautiful glass bottle complete with a pump which I adore. Now this is the perfect product for anyone who has very little time or is very busy. The Sachajuan Overnight Hair Repair is a gel product made from pure water and it is designed to build elasticity, strength and shine to  the hair. You remember the popular Ocean Silk Technology that Sachajuan use in their products? Well, the Overnight Hair Repair has the highest concentration/amount of this technology and you can tell because it leaves your hair looking and feeling so great. I am very delighted that it is fat free so it does not stain my bed or pillows as I use it at night. I am wearing some hair extensions at the moment but I have some of my hair out and it does an amazing job at keeping it healthy. You can choose to rinse it out in the morning but I don't and I think it feels better that way. It is quite pricey but it incorporates actual sea side plants (Rhodophycea, Hondrus Crispus and Algae) which are known for their hair protective and strengthening properties. I really like this product and it is another one on the repurchase list when it runs out.

Overall Thoughts
I love using the Sachajuan products as they work in whatever way I choose to wear my hair; afro, extensions, straightened out, etc.  It always has my back and that's why I am very impressed with the entire range. I am so lucky I got a chance too try out a wide array of their products and a massive thanks to the Mark McDonald Consultancy for hooking me up. I was a little sceptical about how effective they would be on my afro hair but I can tell you that they work so incredibly well.  Yes, they are may not be sulfate free but my hair has seen so much improvement and growth since I started my regime using them. I can't fault them at all and I would continue using them because I love the improvement I have seen with my hair. They work so well on all hair types and I am super impressed with them. That's pretty much it!! Have you tried any products from Sachajuan?

Tips on Beating Bloating

I recently mentioned beating bloating as one of my Beauty Resolutions in this post. I promised to talk a little bit more about how I am addressing this and here I am doing just that. Now I have to put it out there that although I am a Pharmacist, I am coming at this issue from a beauty and lifestyle change perspective. You do still need to consult with your doctor, pharmacist and other health care practitioners for advice as everyone is different. I am just sharing what has worked (and is still working for me) based on my experiences. I am more than delighted to hear any suggestions you may have around this issue. Bloating is a condition that affects many people but it appears to be more common with women. It is associated with food intolerances, constipation, overeating, PMS, intestinal gas, etc. There are various symptoms but the most common are the feeling of fullness and tightness around the stomach. Sometimes, you may feel like your tummy is twice as large as its normal size but it may not be so. For me, it does not actually look that way at all but it definitely feels that way to me.

I never used to experience bloating until the end of last year and I was a little concerned about it. I started reading articles and applying some of my previous knowledge to get the right solution to it for good. For the most part, I did not want to be on medication just for bloating as that’s not my preference. Anyway, I have made some lifestyle changes that I wanted to share which have been working for me. The thing with bloating is that you do have to make consistent lifestyle changes to see good results (just like everything else in this world). You also need to identify what you think may be the cause of your bloating as that would make it easier to select lifestyle changes. I identified that my bloating was caused by some types of food, the time I was eating these meals and some GI issues. I really don’t want to get technical so let me just jump right into it…

Being mindful of the meals I eat
First off, the above pictures have nothing to do with bloating and these meals were sooooo delicious (I am very obsessed with Thai Food). I don't really have any pictures of the actual meals that cause me to feel bloated so I  decided to use these anyway.  The biggest culprit is bread and many processed foods. If I have a bagel or croissant, I would feel bloated almost immediately (and no I am not Gluten Intolerant or Celiac). Same goes for pizza and to be honest it is a difficult call because sometimes I just want these delicious comfort foods/meals. Everyday, I am faced with making the best choices to put my health and wellbeing first and avoid these meals. Sometimes, I succeed and I feel all the better for it. Some other times, I still slip back into my old ways because why not? I am a human being prone to mistakes. However, I try to make good choices for the most part and I am improving with time. I have also been mindful of the time I eat. Generally, most processed foods make me feel bloated and when I eat them at night, it makes it worse. I won't say I have completely excluded processed foods from my diet because let's face it, they are delicious. If I have to have them, it would be before 2pm and definitely not at night as that would exacerbate my bloating. It's sad because I feel Pizza tastes so much better in the evening but I have really had to restrict Pizza nights to a blue moon now.  I also noticed that some vegetables like broccoli and cabbage could cause bloating because they give off gas when they are being broken down in the body. I just eat them in moderation (not like I am a fan of broccoli per say so it's not difficult, hehe).  Lastly, reducing salt intake makes a massive difference because excessive salt causes water retention. I find that most processed foods/meals contain a high level of salt (sodium) which may cause bloating. Sometimes, it's just the little changes and compromises that you make that help make a difference.  Overall, I have seen a massive improvement just by making healthier choices with my meals and meal times) and I feel all the better for it (and less bloated, of course).

Juicing/Cold Pressed Juices
I have to admit that I only recently started juicing and I am totally addicted. I have always scoffed/rolled my eyes at juice cleansing and anything similar. Well, I am taking my words back because I am now a total convert. I have a post planned on my juicing experience (not a juice cleanse but just regular juicing) which I would be sharing on here next week. Basically, my colleague at work (actually my manager but we call everyone colleague) loves juicing and of course, I rolled my eyes at him for sticking to it. I secretly admired his gorgeous glass bottles which housed the juices and then one day, he gave my other colleague and me some of his green juice to taste. We were absolutely shocked at how delicious and wholesome it tasted.  Let’s say the rest is history and I have been juicing consistently for 3 weeks.  Anyway, he told me his beautiful glass bottles and some of the juices were from Rawpress who specialise in the most delicious cold pressed juices. I was on the website as fast I could and here I am loving all my juices to the point of writing about them. The lovely co-founder Jack was kind enough to gift me some juices and I also purchased a few. Juicing has made such a huge improvement to my bloating episodes. I have one juice (usually green) every morning and I can’t even describe how happy I feel. I always look forward to it and it has brought a whole lot of benefits to my skin, nails, etc. I am not a salad dodger but I don’t think I could consume the amount of veg I am currently consuming if I were not juicing. Before now, I would feel quite bloated in the morning after breakfast but now, I am just ready to take on the world. It’s incredible and everyone in my team (at work) have caught on the juicing bug. I think using the right ingredients in the juice such as celery, cucumber, lemon, etc is very important as they are all known for fighting the bloat. It is also the easiest way to up your vegetable and fruit intake if you struggle with that.

Exercise
Of course, exercise had to be included. I have a love-hate relationship with exercise. I love to exercise but I feel lazy getting prepared to go to the gym. The worst thing is my Gym is only 2 minutes from my house (like seriously, you could not be any lazier even if you tried).  If I could just open my eyes and be in the gym, I would be highly delighted. However, when I am in the gym, I have the best time ever and I always want to go back. These days I get my motivation from remembering the amazing time I had the previous day and I get my butt in the gym.  I got to Virgin Active Gym and I enjoy it although it is slightly expensive. However, the cost of the gym versus the improvement in my health and wellbeing makes it worth every penny. Sometimes, I feel bloated after lunch at work if I have had a dodgy lunch and it sometimes remains the same until I get home in the evening. I know it seems silly to write this but each time I go to the gym and do some cardio, my tummy feels considerably less bloated. My flatmate and I have experienced the same feeling and I am sure there are some scientific evidence behind this but I have not bothered checking. I just do some running on the treadmill or the Curv Machine (my favourite gym machine) which I absolutely love. Other times, I would cycle or use the Cross Trainer and they just help me break some sweat. In addition to Cardio, I try to add in some strength training particularly Russian Twists (so difficult for me but so good), Ab crunches and Planks. They don’t take too long but they are effective. Exercise releases feel good hormones in the body and relieves stress. We all know that stress can cause bloating as a result of Cortisol (I call it the feel bad hormone) which has also been associated with belly fat and bloating. Long and short of it, exercise is good for you and me and provides many benefits including dealing with bloating. It does not have to be anything fancy but anything that makes you break a sweat is amazing. I aim for an hour for each gym session 3-5 times a week but 30 minutes is definitely better than nothing.

Increase Water Intake
I have never really had issues drinking water as that's one of my favourite drinks. I can't go anywhere without my bottle of water. I find that sometimes drinking water nay make you feel even more bloated than before. However, it is very essential for the body especially when you feel bloated. If you feel bloated after drinking water, you could make some small changes. I find that fridge cold water may not be the best in these situations so you can switch to room temperature water. I also find that having some hot-warm water infused with lemon is really helpful but I am sure you already know that. I know many people find water boring so you could always make it a little bit more exciting. You could make some infused water (herbs, fruits, etc) and it just makes it a whole lot easier.  Drinking water in small amounts frequently can help relieve bloating as opposed to downing a large amount in one go. Our bodies are made up of mainly water so it is very essential. I usually aim for 2 litres of water everyday but I exceed it each time. I have a Brita Water Bottle (500ml) and I fill it up up to 5 times a day and it has really helped me.

Introduce Probiotics to your regime
I already talked about introducing Probiotics as one of my beauty resolutions in my previous post here. The one I tried was from OptiBac Probiotics and it's called the OptiBac Probiotics 'One Week Flat'* and I enjoyed using it. I had this little pack with me waiting for the best time to use it and I tried it at the peak of my bloating. Inside, you get 7 sachets and it is recommended for use on consecutive days for optimum results. I started on a Monday (as you do) and I had the first sachet dissolved in a glass of water with breakfast. It does not taste of anything and just felt like drinking a regular glass of water. I was not expecting any magic results at all but I surprisingly escaped the morning bloat. I felt much lighter than I usually feel after breakfast but I was still sceptical thinking it may be a placebo effect. I was wrong as my positive experience was consistent with each use and even after I had finished the course. I am really impressed with my results and I really recommend trying it out if many other steps have failed. I am sure everyone is aware that the body has some good bacteria which helps with the normal function of the body. When there is an imbalance in these good bacteria levels, things are not usually the same. Majority of these good bacteria are found in the gastro intestinal sections of our bodies and they aid in digestion. Basically, these OptiBac Probiotics 'One Week Flat'  are made up of these good bacteria that help balance the levels of good bacteria and help minimise bloating. I did not rely solely on OptiBac Probiotics 'One Week Flat' for my results but rather I incorporated it alongside my other lifestyle changes for maximum results. Also, it is recommended to check with your Doctor before starting anything new especially if you are taking other medications. It is suitable for vegetarians, gluten free, yeast free, flavourless, no artificial colours and safe for pregnancy. You can purchase OptiBac  Probiotics 'One Week Flat' from their website here ,check out their stockist here or Superdrug and the OptiBac Probiotics 'One Week Flat' retails for £8.99.

Overall Thoughts
That's pretty much all the tips that have helped me with my bloating. I have got really good results and I feel 100% better than I used to be as a result of these lifestyle changes. Everyone is different so experiences may also be different. I am more than happy to hear what your thoughts are on bloating (if you have experienced it) and what your favourite tips are. See you in my next post...xx
