Brunch with Laura Geller in House of Fraser

Let's just say the 22nd of last month was a pretty special day for me because I got to meet the amazing Laura Geller who is the founder of Laura Geller Beauty. I don't think I have met many faces behind brands so I was super excited to meet her especially as she came from across the shores. You may remember that in October I was kindly invited by the Mark McDonald Consultancy to join them at the launch of Laura Geller Beauty Launch in House of Fraser where I learned more about brand so meeting her was surreal. They were also the brains behind organising this amazing event and I feel incredibly lucky to be invited along with other wonderful bloggers. You can find Laura Geller Beauty on the Laura Geller website, Cult Beauty, FeelUnique, House of Fraser, Debenhams, QVC, Ulta, Nordstrom, etc

The event included Brunch with Laura Geller in the Tea Terrace in House of Fraser and a chance to ask her any questions we had. We were also invited to the Master class she was holding in House of Fraser as well as a taking amazing photos with her. I usually prefer to chill on my bed on Sundays but there was no way I would turn down an invitation to see Laura Geller.

I got there nice and early as usual which was a good thing as I could get a few shots before everyone else joined us. As expected the Tea Terrace in House of Fraser looked simply amazing and it seriously reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. Maybe it was the dainty tea cups or the beautiful chairs, I would never know but I was delighted to be there. We made ourselves comfy before we were joined by the beautiful Laura Geller.

I had actually never seen any pictures/videos of her before the event and I purposely did not want to check because I just wanted to get to know her for myself. She is one of the most down to earth, humble, fun loving people I have ever met. I love her passion and you can tell she puts in a lot of hard work to make her brand what it is. You need to check out some videos and photos here, here and here on Instagram where I posted about this event including a video of her.

She wanted to know more about us bloggers and you could tell she is very genuine and truly the kind of person you want to just have a cup of tea and long chat with. I left the brunch feeling very inspired her her story and brand. She told us about herself, her brand and how she started her career.  She said she always wants to know that her makeup can be worn by real people and I absolutely appreciate that. No one wants makeup that requires too much fuss and all  the Laura Geller Beauty products I have tried  are super easy to use. We asked her what products are best for very busy ladies and she recommended the Laura Geller Real Deal Concealer and Balance-N-Brighten Foundation*.

She is truly the live of the party and we took some photos with her before she had left. We were kindly gifted with some lovely Laura Geller Goodies including the Sweetest Thing Gift Set which contains some amazing gems. I will be talking about all these products in another post once I have had a chance to test them out well. Soon, it was time for her to go for her Master Class and we reluctantly let her go. I popped downstairs to see her in action with her Master Class and it was a pretty full one.

A good number of ladies were waiting for her and you could see the genuine admiration they had for her and she was so friendly with everyone. I stayed for a little while before I found my way home to finish the rest of my Sunday. It was such a wonderful start to my week . A Big Thank You to Laura Geller Beauty and Mark McDonald Consultancy for inviting me for this amazing event. I hope you enjoyed this post and I would catch you in my next. Have you tried any Laura Geller Beauty Products?
