Seven Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag

I am so glad I am finally doing the Seven Deadly Beauty Sin Tag because it had been sitting in my to do posts for the longest time. You all know I love doing tags because they are so much fun and easy to do. I saw this tag most recently on Heather's blog- Porcelainbeautyx Blog and I really enjoyed reading hers. You can check out her tag over here. She is such a lovely blogger and her blog is amazing with clear photos and in-depth reviews so definitely follow her if you are not already.. Right let's get on with the tag, shall we?

Greed- What's your most inexpensive beauty prodict and your most expensive beauty product?
I try to avoid very expensive makeup and skincare products but sometimes I just can't resist. I actually have two categories for most expensive. For Skincare, it is the Gamila Secret Facial Oil which retails for £70 and for makeup it is the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder which retails for £39. For fragrance it has to be the Jo Malone Tuberose Angelica Cologne Intense which retails for £100 although this was a gift from the BF. I have many inexpensive beauty products but I think the cheapest is the Wilko Makeup Wipes which retail for 50p.  It is one of my favourite wipes for quick makeup removal before I begin my skincare cleansing routine.

Wrath- What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
The one beauty product I have a love/hate relationship with is the Dior Star Foundation. Now, it is an absolutely lovely foundation but I don't have my exact shade or match which is really annoying. Initially I got the shade 50 which was too dark and oxidised on my skin so I exchanged it for the 40 which is slightly beigey on me. The thing is it looks really ashy when I apply it but when I blend it in and use a darker powder it looks incredible. That's the main reason why it has made its way into the category. I just can't bare to look at my face while I apply the makeup as it looks so mismatched but it looks amazing when it is all done and dusted. The one product that was the hardest to get was the Lorac Pro Palette but it was worth all the hassle. When it was launched, I watched countless video reviews and read many blogs and I knew I wanted it. I did not realise that Lorac did not ship to the UK and many stores where it was sold did not ship to UK as well. The few ones who did were requesting exorbitant prices along with custom duties and tax. I went on Ebay (biggest mistake ever) and purchase one only for me to find out it was fake. I wrote all about my experience here. I eventually got my money and decided to buy it from Amazon.com and I got it directly from Amazon Merchants because I did not want any funny business. I ended up paying £40 for it but I would do it all over again because it is absolutely stunning.

Gluttony- What are your most delicious beauty products?
Ohhh I have a lot of them at the moment but they are mainly fragrances and the Jo Malone fragrances in my collection just wins it all. However, I think the most delicious beauty product at the moment are the Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb and Rose range. They smell incredible and they actually linger after you have used them. I have the Delicious Rhubarb and Rose Shower Gel and Hand Lotion*. I also love the Molton Brown Pomegranate and Ginger Hand Wash* which is on its last legs now. It smells incredible and I find myself washing my hands every now and then even when I don't need to.

Sloth- What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
It has to be my face masks which is such a shame as they leave my skin so fresh and soft. I find that I use my masks more during A/W and during Spring. I have not been faithful these past few weeks and I guess I have to blame it on Summer. My skin has been behaving well so I guess I have not had cause to reach for them. I have a post here talking about these masks but my favourite ones are the Aqua Mineral Mud Mask and the Una Breenan Super Facialist Clay Mask. They just transform my skin so beautifully and I need to get back on track with them asap.

Pride- What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
It has to be my foundations because they cover my blemishes and my make my face look flawless. I have to say my blemishes have improved drastically over the past year and I now go foundation/concealer free (something I could never dream of before). I just love the way foundation evens out my skin tone and it allows all my other makeup products stand out. However, one product I know I can certainly not live without is my brow pencil. I have barely existent brows and I do look like an alien without my brows. I just can't ignore my brows and I always have to fill them in. I can skip concealer and even foundations but I certainly can't skip filling in my brows. My current favourite brow combo are the Soap and Glory Brow Filling Pencil and MAC Fluidline Gel in Dip Down.

Lust- What beauty products are you lusting after?
I have a looooooooooooooot that I am lusting after but I will keep it civil and share the ones on my top list. I really want to try the Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow (There is finally one for medium to dark skin---hurray), Tom Ford Lipstick in Mink and Spanish Pink. For skincare, I am really lusting after Sunday Riley Luna Oil and Artemis Oil...okay, I just want everything form the range including Good Genes. A girl can only dream, can't she?

Envy- What items would most like to receive as a gift?
I think I would like to receive a Clarisonic for a gift and it does not really matter which one but maybe the Mia.  It's one of those products I have lusted after for a long while and I have been shying away from forking out so much on it. I think I may pop it on a Christmas or Wish List or maybe I can wait and purchase it during Boxing Day sales or when there is a massive discount. If I can't get my hands on the Clarisonic, I don't mind trying the Magnitone Lucid or the Foreo Luna Mini so I can travel easily with it

That's pretty much it folks!! My deadly beauty sins all written up finally after lazing around for a while.
