If you follow me on Instagram, you probably would have seen me mention the lovely Nude by Nature Eye Collection more than a few times. I am actually a little bit too obsessed with them and I use at least one product from the range everyday which says a lot. I have a lot of eye makeup products so if I get to use a particular brand more often than others, then it just means I am in love with them. I was introduced to the Nude by Nature Makeup brand earlier this year and I'd never heard about them before then. I have spoken about the Highlight and Contour Collection Masterclass here and reviewed the Entire Range over here. You can check these posts out because I talk about the history behind the brand and their ethos.
Last month, I was very kindly invited to the launch of their Eye Collection. I was more than delighted to attend because I'd seen some sneak previews on their Instagram page and I told myself I need to purchase a few once they become available on ASOS or Feel Unique. It was an evening event so I just popped over after work and surprisingly I was early and I had a chance to take some photos before the event took off.
The venue was Glaziers Hall in South East London and it was stunning as it overlooked the gorgeous River Thames. The venue set up was all inspired by the Eye Collection which was also inspired to mirror the nature and landscapes of Australia. There were several makeover stations with makeup artists on hand to help out.
Brief Overview of the Nude by Nature Eye Collection // Link
I will talk more about the Eye Collection in more details in my review post so this is more of a quick overview. The Nude by Nature Eye Collection is inspired by the extraordinary palette of Australia which is where Nude by Nature was founded. The Eye Collection draws inspiration from Australia's stunning skies, shimmering sands and deep waters and these colours are reflected in the shade range and names of the products within the collection. Nude by Nature is Australia's No 1 Mineral Makeup and their ethos is developing products that are more than just cosmetics but also good for you.
Like all Nude by Nature products, the Eye Collection product formulas are enriched with active natural ingredients including the native Australian Kakadu Plum (known for its Vitamin C content), Candelilla Wax and Pro Vitamin B5. The products within the Eye Collection include: Contour Eye Pencils* (6 shades), Perfecting Eye Primer, Definition Eyeliners*(2 shades), Allure Defining Mascaras*(2 shades), Natural Illusion Pressed Eyeshadows*(12 shades), Shimmering Sands Loose Eye Shadows*(3 shades), Natural Wonders Eye Palette*, Natural Illusion Eyeshadow Trio*(in Nude 01, Smoky 02, Rose 03) and four new Professional Eyeshdow Brushes (Base Shadow Brush*, Blending Brush*, Smudge Brush* and Angled Eyeliner Brush*). Nude by Nature Makeup products including the Eye Collection can be purchased from the Nude by Nature website here, ASOS and Feel Unique.
The Eye Collection was also beautifully displayed across the room and I could not help but take photos. When everything is so pretty, it is very hard to stop myself and my camera even if I am very tired from work. As expected there were some nibbles (also inspired by Australian Nature- yes, they went all out with all the little details),drinks and even a gorgeous cake. I actually thought the cake was not real because it looked so pretty but indeed it was real. I left early so I didn't have a chance to taste it but I am sure it tasted as good as it looked.
Soon, it was time for the Masterclass and the Nude by Nature Brand representative was at hand to talk us through the products and show us how to use them. She did a quick demo on the model using the new Eye Collection including the Perfecting Eye Primer, Shimmering Sands Loose Eyeshadow, Contour Eye Pencil and Allure Defining Mascara. The model looked gorgeous even before the demo and she looked absolutely stunning afterwards.
One thing I love Nude by Nature for is how natural and not overly made up the final look always turns out. I had to leave immediately after the Masterclass so I did not have any makeovers done because I had a long day and early start the next day. However, I was so generously gifted with the entire Eye Collection. No, seriously, the ENTIRE Eye Collection complete in very fancy packaging *insert all the heart eyed emojis*.
I already did an Unboxing on Instagram (Instastory) and I have been testing them for a full month now. I would save all my thoughts for my review which should be up soon (I have just been so busy but no excuses, expect more reviews going forward).
The best news, especially for people like me who prefer to go in store and see/try makeup before buying makeup, is that Nude by Nature will be launching in Debenhams (in-store) at the end of October 2016. I will update this post with a link and date for the Debenhams Online Launch and I know it will be a huge hit. That's pretty much all from me today. A massive thanks to Nude by Nature and their PR for inviting me to this epic event and gifting me the Eye Collection which I have enjoyed so much. Have you tried the Nude by Nature Eye Collection?
