La Roche Posay Effaclar Event

I am back again with another event but this time around it is a very special one to me because it was hosted by one of my favourite French Skincare Brand- La Roche Posay. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would have read countless reviews of my La Roche Posay purchases even way before they contacted me. La Roche Posay is  a brand I feel very proud to be involved with because their products work for my skin type and the people who work for the brand are amazing.  I was kindly invited to an  Effaclar Event* in Central London to learn more about the Effaclar range (my favourite from La Roche Posay) back in October. The event also showcased their exciting new launch in the UK- The Effaclar K+.

The event was held in the beautiful HUS Gallery in Hanover Street just off Oxford Circus. La Roche Posay PR always choose the most amazing venues ever and they somehow manage to transform any regular venue to an outstanding one. It was a drop-in session which I quite like because it means I can fit the event around my schedule and not worry too much if I am late. I popped in around 7pm and it was so nice to see all the lovely ladies from La Roche Posay again.  I was kindly shown a tour round the range and everything was beautifully presented. The pictures do it no justice at all; they looked really fantastic. Of course, there were delicious canapés and drinks which I helped myself with. I totally forgot to get some photos which is such a shame as they looked delicious.

The good thing about the Effaclar range is its suitability for all skin types including sensitive skin as they don't contain any nasties like Parabens, Sulfates etc. I have used them for a few years now and I largely rely on them to keep my acne/blemish prone skin clear. I have several reviews here of all my La Roche Posay Products which you can check out. The Effaclar range is made up of some of my favourite products including the Effaclar Duo+, Effaclar A.I., Effaclar Micellar Water, Effaclar Mat, Serozinc, Effaclar H, Effaclar Cleansing Gel, Effaclar Clarifying Lotion,  Effaclar Anti Blemish Kit and of course the new Effaclar K+. I had no idea the Serozinc was part of the Effaclar range! Little wonder why I love it so much and it's one of the easiest products to use it as it sprays very evenly.

With the Effaclar range, there is something for everyone and they provide a complete skincare routine which has been helpfully broken down as follows: Cleansing, Toning, Moisturising and Treatment. That's pretty much my skincare routine and I am sure many people already do this. What makes any skincare routine work well is using the right products that suit your skin. Of course, I am no skincare expert but I do know from experience that Effaclar is one of the best ranges I have tried for my acne prone skin. Ever since I discovered the range almost three years ago, I always ensure I am well stocked up and Escentual/Boots always have amazing offers that help me.  All the products were well arranged round the gallery and I loved how there were descriptions on how the products work. I had already tried a good number of the products which is always a good thing but that did not stop me from learning some new things.

The Effaclar K+ which is the newest launch from the Effaclar Range and it is essentially designed to target recurrent blackheads, clogged pores and irregularities on the skin while promising to deliver a matte finish to the face. I am currently it trying it now and I really like it. I will be reviewing it separately so watch out for that post. It reminds me a lot of the Effaclar Duo + but they are designed to deliver different benefits. If you have acne prone/blemish prone and oily skin, you should definitely try the La Roche Posay Effaclar Line. The products really do what they say and I am a huge fan of their simple packaging.

Soon it was time to leave and I made my way back home. The La Roche Posay team absolutely spoil me everytime and they kindly sent me home with so many products to try. Many of them will serve as backups to products I already love but I am excited to try the new ones. Some of the new ones I am currently trying include the Effaclar Cleansing Gel*, Effaclar K+* , Effaclar Mat* and the Effaclar Micellar Water*. I had no idea (before the event) that there was an Effaclar Micellar water. I already own the regular La Roche Posay Micellar Water which has risen to become one of my favourite ones so an Effaclar one is really exciting. I will share my thoughts on it in another post.
