Christmas Gift Guide (Part 2)

As promised in my Christmas Gift Guide Part 1, I have put together the second instalment. There are so many gift sets out in stores now and I like that many are quite affordable. I have picked up a good selection of products which would suit various budgets. Some of them are not actually sold as gift sets but I have just added my little twist to make them look like gift sets. I find that many people actually appreciate gifts that are very personalised because you won't find them in stores. I went into a store called Hema which I am obsessed with to pick up some Christmas decorations which were super affordable, Then, I popped into Tiger which is another amazing store where I picked up some of the gift baskets. They were all under £5 but they make the products look so much more expensive. I am sure there are so many other shops that sell inexpensive packaging if you don't live near these shops.

You can also buy gift boxes from Body Shop if you want to make your own selection of gifts and I love how sturdy their boxes are. They were also under £2 although there was a super fabulous one for £6. Lastly, I picked up some fancy tissue/lining papers from Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury's and that was me done. Anybody can do this and I think it makes your Christmas Gifts super special but most importantly, it allows you pick up products you actually want. I find that some gift sets contain some products you don't want but if you make the gift sets yourself, there is no chance of that happening. Right let's get into the flow....

Boots Botanics All Bright Range// Link // from £2.00
I don’t know about you but the Boots Botanics range particularly the All Bright Hibiscus range is really awesome. I have used the All Bright Toner and Eye Roll On for ages and I love them both (and have even repurchased them several times). I am currently trying the beauty blogger favourite- Botanics Radiance Balm and the All Bright Radiance Serum and they are really impressive so far. The good thing is they are super affordable and they would make an amazing gift for anyone who is into skincare. If you are a beauty lover who is after a glow, this is one range from Boots that’s worth trying out or gifting a loved one.

The range works really well on all skin types (as far as I know) and for any age range. I decided to make it a little special by picking out some of my favourite products from the range and personalising them. I bought the red basket from Tiger and it was only £3 while the gold bow was from Hema for only £1. The products I picked out include the All Bright CleansingToner, All Bright Eye Roll On, All Bright Hydrating Night Cream, All Bright Radiance Balm and All Bright Facial Scrub. I can’t imagine anyone not loving this set and all the products are currently on offer in Boots (1/3rd off). I think this is one of my favourite personalised gift set I put together from the lot.

Sanctuary Spa Skincare// Link // starts from £4.66
I popped into Boots to pick up some cough syrup but of course, I had to make a detour to the beauty section. I came across the Sanctuary Spa Skincare range which I had never seen before. I know Sanctuary Spa already do amazing body care and I do own a few of their mini body butters/hand creams which I love. I have to say they do really amazing packaging and they have gone all out for their skincare packaging. Everything is so well thought out from the packaging of the micellar waters down to the makeup remover. I picked up a few products to try for myself but I realise they would make an amazing gift for any skincare product lover.

I picked up the Sanctuary Spa Micellar Cleansing Water (which has the best packaging for micellar water I have seen so far), the Sanctuary Spa Eye Makeup Remover, Sanctuary Spa Detox Charcoal Wash, Sanctuary Spa Moisture Burst Facial Wash and the Sanctuary Spa Hot Cloth Cleanser. I also got a sachet of the Thermal Cleansing Mask which I have heard so many good things bout. The entire Sanctuary Spa Skincare range is on offer (1/3rd off) in Boots so they were super affordable. I think everything cost me under £30. I just got a gift box and lined it with some red tissue and it's good to go as a gift for a loved one. I have tested some of the products (first impressions) and I am very impressed. Review will be up shortly.

Body Shop Frosted Plum Christmas Collection*// from £8 // Link
Last week, I blogged about the Body Shop Christmas Event I attended where I was kindly gifted with a generous goody bag containing the Frosted Plum Collection. I promised to show them in this post and here there are. Aren't they gorgeous? The entire collection includes a range of other products not shown in this post but I love all the bits I received.  I received the Bath Fizz Bombs, Body Butter, Body Polish and the Shimmer Body Mist all from the Frosted Plum Collection.

I also received the Body Shop Glitter Eyeliner and Powder Mist in the most beautiful vintage bottle. Lastly, I received a bottle of their newly launched Black Musk Fragrance which I love (and it’s purple) along with the cutest bear Sponge. I like that you can buy gift boxes from Body Shop and fill them with anything you want if you don’t want to be buy a premade one. The gift boxes are very sturdy and I could not believe they were £1.50 when I went to purchase mine. I think this is amazing way of personalising a gift box for someone who is obsessed with Body Shop products as you can always pick their favourite products and build a box for them.

Molton Brown Gift Set// £16 // Link
This is not actually Molton Brown’s Christmas Gift Collectionbut it’s just one of my favourite products I recently repurchased. I particularly like that Molton Brown offer free gift packaging on all orders and there is even an option of including a note. I always use a free gift packaging service when one is available as it makes my order special!! I love how elegant the packaging looks complete with the red bow which gives it a Christmassy touch. I repurchased my absolute favourite products from Molton Brown which I was kindly gifted earlier this year in April. I have a post talking about these products over here if you fancy a read. They lasted me for a really long time and they are hands down one of my favourite luxury bath and body brands.

The products in this picture include Pomegranate and Ginger range (Hand Wash and Hand Lotion) and the Deliciously Rhubarb and Rose range (Shower Gel and Body Lotion). To say I am obsessed with these ranges would be an understatement. These would make an amazing gift for anyone who loves a bit of luxury in their baths or people who have just moved home or anyone who loves a pamper. I will be talking about their Christmas Collection by next week so watch out for that post!!

Sachajuan Hair Care Range*// from £18 // Link
I have always seen the Sachajuan hair care products on various social media channels and I was really curious about them. You can imagine my delight when I was asked if I wanted to try some products from their range. I may have a let out a little squeal. I will be posting a full review on the products when I have tested them out for longer as I only just received them. I have to say their packaging is absolutely amazing and they do know how to make the best simplistic designs. I find that products with such simple designs look so elegant and expensive. The Sachajuan range is well known for their patented Ocean Silk technology aimed at infusing the hair with volume, bounce and shine. You can purchase the range from Space NK, and Cult Beauty

I received a lovely selection of their products including the Sachajuan Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner,  Sachajuan Hair Cleansing Cream, Sachajuan Hair Repair and Sachajuan Hair Perfume. I have been testing out the hair perfume over the weekend and I am seriously obsessed with it as it smells so lovely! I think it would even make an amazing gift on its own to anyone. In order to make it a personalised gift, I put all the products in this lovely basket I purchased from Tiger for only £4. It goes so well with the Sachajuan products and I feel it would make an amazing gift for any hair care lover. All you have to do is add some clear wrapping paper and you are good to go. The best part is the basket can always be used to store all the Sachajuan hair products ready for frequent use.

NCLA Nail Polish Range*// £11// Link
I am also new to the NCLA Nail polish range and I am very impressed. I got a chance to try out two of their nail polishes last month and I loved the formula and wear time. I was kindly sent some more nail polishes which go so well with the festive season. These nail polishes include Rush Hour, Mulholland Man Eater, Laurel Canyon Lolita and Nude Collection Volume V. They are the most the gorgeous colours for the festive season as well A/W season. The unique thing about the NCLA nail polishes is that they are non-toxic 5-free  nail polishes that do not include-Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate, Camphor and Animal Testing.

They are not regular nail polishes and that makes them extra special. In the pictures, I only used two coats with no base coat and top coat to show you how lovely they look. To be honest, just one coat was enough although it is always good to use a base coat and a top coat. They would make an amazing gift set for anyone who is obsessed with nail polishes and you can always store them in a gift box like I did. I got this one from Wilko for only £2 and it does look like a treasure chest!! NCLA currently have 15% off your first order when you subscribe to their newsletter and free delivery for orders over £40. That’s a really good way to save money!!

Nanshy Masterful Collection*// £49.95 // Link
I am sure you would remember my review of the Nanshy Masterful Collection which you can find here. Nanshy are one of my favourite makeup brushes and I have used them for years. This is the same brush set but it still looks like brand new (I use them very frequently!!). The good things about them is they wash so well, dry fast and always look like brand new. They are vegan friendly and PETA approved as they are made from synthetic hairs/bristles only which makes them many a beauty blogger’s favourite brush. The Masterful Collection contains face brushes and eye brushes and I think it would make an amazing gift for any makeup lover including beginners and experts. Inside the set, you get 12 brushes in total which is an amazing deal for £49.95. You can read all about the brushes here for more pictures and descriptions of the brushes. I added a little silver bow to personalise it although I would wrap this if I was giving it as a gift to a loved one.

That’s pretty much all my little ideas for my Christmas Gift Guide Part 2. I am putting together a giveaway soon so do keep your eyes peeled for them. I do want to get it done before the Christmas Rush so nothing get stuck in the mail. I would love to know any ideas for a giveaway you may have so I can make sure I give away what people appreciate the most!! Thanks for reading and I do hope you have some more ideas for your wish list or gift ideas for loved ones. What’s your favourite gift from this Christmas Gift Guide?...xx
