September 2015 Favourites

Yes, it's time for favourites again and incidentally they are my favourite (pun very much intended) posts to read. In September, I fell in love with many products and many of them are quite new to me. I know these products will definitely be staples because I have used them consistently through the month and even into October, I don't see myself not using them. Many of them have not actually made a proper appearance on here on the blog although they may have made debuts on Instagram. You do need to check out my Instagram page (yes, very shameless plug in as you do) where I have become very active. I am a little bit obsessed with Instagram lately and I have met so many amazing people on there. I always post pictures everyday and most times, there are pictures that don't even manage to make it on the blog so if you love pictures (or my photos), you can head on over here and give me a follow...xx. Right, let's roll into my September Favourites. I finally filmed a little video as well as you know that's one of my favourite things to do although it is incredibly time consuming. You can find a direct link to the video here and a subscribe link here to my channel. I always appreciate getting new followers on my channel; it makes my day!!;-)). As usual, the video is embedded on the blog, so if you can't be bothered reading a blog post, I have got your back covered as you can watch me instead.

Biologique Recherche P50V Lotion// from £59 // Link
I have already raved about this lovely exxfoliating lotion on my Instagram more than a few times and this is simply because it is outstanding. If you remember, I was invited for a bespoke Biologique Recherche Facial back in August and it totally changed my skin. I was also sent some samples to try out and I promptly purchased the P50V lotion full size because I did not need to be convinced any longer on its efficacy. It is perfect for many skin types particularly if you have acne/blemish prone skin as it keeps your skin in tip top shape. I will have a full review of it soon because it definitely deserves one.

Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre// £12.99 (on offer for £8.70)  // Link
This is another very hyped skincare product which was formerly difficult to find however it is so much easier to get your hands on it now. I love how multi functional the Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre is and I keep wondering why it took me so long to fall for it. I showed it in my Escentual Mini Haul here already. It can be used as a moisturiser, serum, primer and even to remove makeup but I use mine mainly as a primer. It is the busy lady's answer to a multi purpose cream because it really caters to many skin needs. It works amazingly well as a primer and I have used it solely since I purchased it which can only mean I love it.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid// £17.50 (on sales for £11.75)// Link
I am pretty sure this has made a few appearances on the blog because I love how moisturising, soothing and gentle it is. It is designed mainly for sensitive skin but it works so well on my combination skin. I use it together with the Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre and together, they are such a winning duo. It goes on so smoothly and easily and it offers good hydration for my skin type. The best thing is it is so gentle that it can also be used as an eye cream. I always love multi purpose products as they are travel friendly as well.

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Eye Cream// £13.49 // Link
I am very obsessed with eye creams and it may seem quite odd that I have not featured them all on the blog but I have a post planned. I have tested out quite a few eye creams and I love the improvements I have seen in my under eye and surrounding areas. If you get little sleep or keep late nights, the first signs of tiredness are usually around the eye. This is because the skin in this area is very thin and needs a lot of hydration to keep it plump and healthy. The Revitalift Eyecream has been such an amazing affordable offering and I actually got this one on offer in Wilko for under £5. It helps keep my eye area hydrated and plump and it has helped with the appearance of some fine lines which make my concealer crease. I am really pleased with it and I may need to buy a back up when next there is an offer.

By Terry Eye Designer Eyeshadow Palette (02)// £69 // Link
If you follow me on Instagram, you must be totally tired of hearing me rave about By Terry products. I am totally late into the By Terry obsession game and the products are incredible. I did a huge haul sometime in September because I wanted to treat myself and it was definitely one of the highlights of  my month. I have not been able to use my other products as much as I used to because I always find myself being drawn back to By Terry products, especially the eyeshadow palette. I won't rave too much about it because I have two posts coming soon- A By Terry Haul Post and the By Terry Eye Designer Palette Review. It has such a luxe packaging which I totally love and I love how compact it is. I would say it is easily one of my favourite palettes and the fact that it can be used wet or dry makes me love it even more. It is such a pricey splurge but it is one I have got so much use from without any single regrets.

By Terry Rouge Velvet in Pause Cappuccino// £30 // Link
This is another lip gloss/liquid lipstick I picked up from my By Terry haul and I am absolutely obsessed with it. It is the perfect everyday colour for me and I have worn it almost every day in September. I am sure everyone who knows me is completely fed up but I am past caring. It is one of the best I have ever tried as it is so confortable, long wearing and a pretty colour. The only downside is it transfers which is not too much of a big deal but it is something to bear in mind. This particular shade is not too bad with its transfer but the My Red (most gorgeous red shade ever) is another story altogether. Depsite this, I am totally obsessed and I am still using it this October. I really am trying not to get it finished as it is quite pricey.

MAC Prep and Prime Highlighter Pen in Peach Lustre// £19 // Link
I already featured this in a MAC haul and I am still totally obsessed with it. If you have dark blemishes or annoying hyper pigmentation, you would understand the headache of concealing them. I always use concealers but this corrector has totally changed the game for me. It completely hides all my hyper pigmentation so well that I don't even have to use a concealer. I just go in with my foundation (any coverage is fine as the corrector does the job already) and I am out of the door. It has reduced my makeup time a lot and I know I will be purchasing back ups in Duty Free when I go away.

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray and Rollerball// from £12 // Link// Link
I have always found it easy to sleep, like really easy. Once my head hits the pillow, I am gone. I have no problem with sleeping so I have never thought of using any of these essential oils to help. However, I find it really hard to switch off because my mind keeps doing the rounds and will not shut down unless I close my eyes. I found these This Works products on sale in the Boots Clearance and I decided to try them and I have been obsessed. They really help me wind down and I love how relaxed I feel. I never thought these kind of products work but they totally do (or is it just in my head). I have also made some lifestyle changes like putting away my phone (insanely difficult) to help me wind down but these products have really helped me a lot.

Giorgio Armani Si Eau de Parfum*// £67 // Link
I was so lucky to attend the House of Fraser Christmas Press Day last month and I was kindly gifted with the Giorgio Armani Si Fragrance. I was so delighted because I was thinking of popping this on a Christmas/Birthday wish list. Every time I pop into House of Fraser or other Department stores, I always head off to spritz this perfume all over myself. It makes me feel so sophisticated and sensual. I love everything about it down to the packaging. It is a very weighty bottle that looks very classy on my dresser and the best thing is it is also super long lasting. There is no need to re apply.

That's pretty much it for all my September Favourites. I have to say September was a very trying month for me and you may have noticed I was not posting as much on the blog. I was going through a lot but I thank God for giving me the strenght to come through it all. I may do an update post but I am quite selective on what I share with the internet so I may not share everything per say. However, there are some exciting updates which I think you may want to know. I absolutely appreciate every single comment, like, save, etc I get on this blog. It is my one happy place and I am so lucky to have you all supporting me. Thank you so much!! What was your absolute favourite this month? See you in my next post...xx
