I am so happy you all seemed to like the events posts I have been blogging about this week. Thank you so much for your lovely comments and compliments about my photography; I really do appreciate them. I have a couple more events after this post and I am done so please do bear with me. Today's post is all about FOREO (the actual spelling is FOREO but I will be mentioning it a lot so I will stick to small letters/casing). I have blogged about my Luna Mini over here which I absolutely adore. You can imagine my sheer delight when the lovely PR for Foreo got in touch to ask me if I fancied attending this event in the beautiful Indigo Room, Soho Hotel. I was like "why ever not?". I have been so impressed with the Foreo Luna Mini so a chance to hear more about the brand and any new launches was more than appealing. I had such a busy day at work that evening (and it was raining-worst combo ever) but thankfully I got there on time.
I have attended a few events at the Soho Hotel and it is one of my favourite venues because the interiors are amazing. You may or may not remember the Fake Bake Beauty Event which was also held in the same hotel. No two rooms or suites in the hotel are the same and you can tell that a lot of effort and time has been invested in their designs.
The Foreo Event was to celebrate the launch of a host of exciting new products including the new Foreo Cleanser range (Day and Night), the innovative IRIS Illuminating Eye Massager and extensions to their best selling ISSA Oral hygiene range. I really liked the atmosphere and décor of the room as it felt really calming and relaxing with dim lights and little candles. My Camera and Lens were having none of it and kept going out of focus so the quality of my photos for this post is not the best but I am sure you can still enjoy them. The event was not too crowded as well which I quite liked because it meant everyone had a chance to learn more about the products on a personal level. Foreo's PR team -Imagination PR were so friendly and provided useful information about each product. I felt really welcome and I got a very good insight of the products.
There were some nibbles and drinks as usual and I helped myself as you do. I also met some other lovely bloggers including the gorgeous Shirley Eniang who looks even more beautiful in real life. She was so friendly, classy, elegant and very real. I totally admire YouTubers who manage to stay true to themselves all through the years and I have been watching Shirley for a long time and so proud of her success. I got a chance to play around with the new Foreo Cleansers which are designed to work with the Foreo LUNA range although you can still use them even if you don't own a Foreo Luna. However, using them with the Foreo Luna has some added benefits as it brings the cleansers' textures to life and helps with their absorption and efficacy.
There are two types of cleansers for women which were designed specifically for day cleansing and night cleansing. The Foreo Day Cleanser with Awakening Radiance Yoghurt is formulated with Bergamot, Mandarin and Apricot fruit extracts. It promises to leave the skin soft, healthy and radiant. The Night Cleanser Celestial Melting Gel is also enriched with Meteorite powder, Moringa extract and Sweet almond . It is designed to deeply cleanse the skin and remove impurities, makeup and pollutants with precision at the end of the day. There was even a Daily Cleanser for Men which comes in a sexy black packaging that I adore. This cleanser can be used by men for day and night cleansing and it aims to purify and revitalize the skin. I was told it can also be used after shaving which I am sure would be music to many men's ears and would make an incredible gift.
I also learnt about the new extensions to the Foreo ISSA range which has been expanded to include removable brush heads and one particular one has a mix of silicone and normal bristles. They looked incredible with various colours available to choose from. I keep finding myself being drawn to the black one- seriously, isn't it the classiest toothbrush ever?
The final Foreo device which I am obsessed with is the Foreo IRIS Illuminating Eye Massager. According to Foreo, it is "a ground breaking device which incorporates alternating sonic technology delivering a gentle yet effective massage for younger and refreshed looking eyes". I absolutely agree with this claim because I have been using the one I was gifted with for a few weeks and I can see a difference. The amazing thing is it can be used in conjunction with eye creams and serums to help improve their absorption and of course, it can be used on its own for a relaxing massage. To be honest, it does look gimmicky but it is really effective when you try it. I would save all my thoughts on it for a separate review after I have tested it for a little longer so be sure to check back on the blog or on Instagram for an update.
I was kindly gifted with one of the most incredible goody bags I have ever received at an event. My bag contained the Foreo Luna in Magenta Pink*, Foreo Iris Eye Massager *and Foreo Day Cleanser*. I already have a Foreo Luna Mini* which was kindly sent to me a few months ago and now my Foreo Squad is complete. The Foreo Day and Night Cleansers are exclusively sold at Selfridges (it's best to check online as I went in-store last Saturday and it was completely sold out). They are so affordable at £25 and £30 respectively so I can imagine they would be sold out like hot cake.
I had a really good time but as with every good thing, there is always an end and soon it was time to go home. I really enjoyed meeting with the Foreo PR team (Imagination PR) and chatting with other bloggers especially Shirley Eniang. A big thank you to FOREO and Imagination PR for inviting me to such an incredible event and gifting me with such generous goodies. I always feel like the luckiest girl ever and I thank all my readers for their support. I am planning a giveaway soon so please do keep your eyes peeled for it; maybe by next month. I hope you enjoyed this post. See you in my next post...xx
