Boots Clearance Haul

Hands up if you like a good bargain!! I always look out for deals and will rarely buy anything full price unless I am super desperate. Even if I don't get an actual discount at least I know I can get loyalty points. For a long time, I never realised that Boots had a clearance section which is such an amazing place to get good deals. I only discovered this treasure hunt two years ago after more than five years of shopping in Boots. Yeah I know right, can you believe I was so blind for a long time? Well to be fair, I don't think they have the Boots Clearance Section in all Boots stores but they are usually available in the slightly larger Boots stores. They are also well hidden which I don't quite understand. Hello Boots, do you not want people to find it? Seriously, I am always baffled at the hidden places they manage to leave the Boots Clearance. I can't even remember how on earth I stumbled upon it but I think I was just wandering around aimlessly and I spied it. I was like Wow!! They actually have such amazing deals in there and I have not looked back ever since. Now, I always look out for the Clearance section before I even attempt to buy anything in Boots and I am rarely disappointed.

Are they available in all Boots?
As I mentioned earlier, they are not available in all Boots but you would more often than not find them in the slightly larger Boots. You would also usually find them in Boots around residential areas although I know you can find them in some Boots near Train Stations. You won't find them in the Boots in Bond Street and Oxford Street or may be I have not yet found where they are hidden in these stores. I live in South West London and the three Boots close to me and my office have an amazing clearance section. I am of the opinion that there seems to be more Boots Clearance sections in South West London. I never found them in the Boots in Manchester but then I did not know about them so maybe they are hidden in a corner you would not expect.

What area in Boots can I find them?
I already mentioned how much of an effort they put in hiding these clearance sections. It is not in the places you would expect. They also keep changing its location which is a game I am beginning to enjoy. One thing for sure is that they are never in the same place. You won't find them in front of the store for sure but you will find them behind the store like at the rear of the store. It is sometimes close to the Baby section so keep an eye out in that section. In the Boots close to me, they hide them near the Baby section and near the hair dryers and electrical devices. It is usually a small stand with a red clearance sign on it. Sometimes, it is not very clear but you would see the products with a sticky red label on them.

Is the Boots Clearance available all year?
I would like to think so but I don't think you would find them easily during Christmas season. I have checked my usual Boots stores and they are nowhere to be seen. I think they are only available during regular times of the year. However, I find that they come back in full force just after a Season (like Christmas, Easter, Summer, etc)  so look out for them Jan/February because they would be looking to get rid of all the seasonal gift items which they did not sell. You can also check around September/October which is when I got some of my favourite picks which I am sharing below today.

What can I expect to find in Boots Clearance?
OMG, the possibilities in there are endless. There is no set answer to this at all and there is no limit to what you can expect to find. You can find anything in this section and I have lost count on all the gems I have purchased. They usually have an abundance of hair products which does not quite interest me because I don't think they are all suitable for my hair type. However, I scored some John Frieda Hair Serum which I love for only £1 and I bought a lot. You can find skincare products (including high end and drug store), hair care, makeup (high end and drug store), stationery, perfumes, baby products, electronics, phone covers, etc. Honestly, the list is endless. You may not always find something that would blow your mind but I have always found a deal that makes me go Wow!! The prices are usually at least 50% discount and many times I have seen at least 75% discounted products.

What condition are the products in Boot Clearance?
They are always in really good condition. I have no idea why they are even there in the first place but I am guessing they just need to clear their stock. They are not expired at all because I always check before I purchase anything that I would use on my body. The worst case is a smashed outer packaging and that's pretty much it. I always take my time and pick out the products that are in their best condition. I remember buying some hand wipes in this section which smelt funky but I think that's the only dodgy experience I have had so far. I also need to mention that you can't return any items you buy from the Boots Clearance section which is not unheard of so you need to be sure before you buy.

What have I purchased from Boots Clearance?
A whole lot!!!! I already mentioned that I discovered the Boots Clearance section two years ago so you can imagine how much I have!! The cheapest product I have purchased is a Boots Body Spray for 50p which is incredible and it was even on a deal for 3 for 2.  It was insane and I still use it because it smells so lovely and refreshing. I thought I would share my latest purchases which I picked up in the past three months. My best purchase is the Lancome Advanced Genifique Serum (30 ml) which I purchased for £30 (the most expensive I have ever paid for any product from Boots Clearance) when the full price is £59. The outer packaging was a little damaged but it was still sealed so was in amazing condition. The product in itself was perfect and I have been enjoying using it. I also scored the Benefit Radiance Skincare Set for £7.75 (RRP £15-£22). I even purchased my first Chanel Nail Polish for £9 when it retails for £18. I am always pleased with my purchases and many times I just use my Boots loyalty points to pay for them.

Overall Thoughts
There you have it- my secret shopping place!! Well, I am sure many people already know about it. I hope it was useful if you have never heard about Boots Clearance or it's a Section you have overlooked. There are some real gems in there and I can't wait for the Christmas season to be over so I can score some more goodies!! Hope your Sunday was amazing and I would see you in tomorrow's post. If you want a particular review of any of the products above, do let me know in the comments section. Have you shopped in Boots Clearance?..xx

Mini Drugstore Haul...

I have to admit I have not bought a lot of makeup this month compared to the past few months. However, I picked up a few things which I have not reviewed on here yet but they are really good. Most of the products are from the drug store and the only high end one was a free gift. I just love popping into Boots and Superdrug to see what's new. Last week, I found so many new releases that I had to Instagram it over here. I did not pick up any new releases just yet because  I am waiting to read some reviews. I have my eyes on the Bourjois Color Bands because I swatched them in store and they looked incredible; so that's on the radar. I also definitely want to pick up the Sleek Brow Perfector which is a new launch and I hope it turns out well. Why am I rambling?Let's dive into this post....

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer
I saw that the Rimmel Lasting Finish range was massively discounted in Boots and I had to pop a few products from the range into my basket. I already spoke about the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation here if you fancy a read. The Lasting Finish Primer was only £3 and I thought it would be nice to try it as it promised to be long lasting. I am actually surprised that it works well. It feels like a thick cream/moisturiser but it eventually gets absorbed into the skin once you blend it well. It definitely helps my foundation last longer and it works incredibly well with the Rimmel Foundation. If you have very dry skin, it may be too dry for you because it feels matte (but not dry) once it absorbed the skin. It may also cling to dry patches. However, it works a treat on my combination oily skin and I love using it. I recently paired it with my By Terry Cover Expert Foundation (review here) and it worked incredibly well. I can't fault this at all and I wished I picked up a back up as it back its original price :-(

Revlon Nearly Naked Powder in Deep Fonce
I have been on the haunt for a good drug store powder to pop into my makeup bag.  I still have my Chanel Les Beiges Powder (review hereand MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural (review herebut I just wanted something with a lighter coverage. Most times, I don't really need to do a massive amount of powder touch up except to take away the shine. I find that using my MAC MSF adds more colour to my face which I don't necessarily want. I finally found the Revlon Nearly Naked Powder and I am impressed with it. The shade match is fantastic and it does not add any more coverage to my face which I like. Instead,  it just takes away the shine and complements my makeup making it look natural. The only snag is the packaging (it's white) is a pain to keep clean because the powder particles lightly swirl on the edges on application. It absolutely does my head in and I literally have to wipe it every time I use it (I cannot stand messy makeup). I still like it a lot and will use it till it runs out as it's a great touch up powder.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
I think I may have already talked about this on Monday here. I got this Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara after reading a few reviews and seeing it plastered everywhere in the drug store. To be fair, it is actually a nice mascara for every day wear especially if you prefer a mascara that holds a curl. I prefer lengthening mascaras and any mascara that lengthens with some volume is a winner in my book.  It does a decent job of lengthening but since my lashes are short and curly, I need something with more oomph to make my lashes look longer. I still use this mascara but it's not one I reach for everyday or one I would repurchase. If you want a good drug store mascara that holds a curl, I think this is one to check out as people have compared it to the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Curvy Candy (14)
Clinique announced a few weeks ago via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook that they were giving out free Full sized Chubby Sticks Lip Balm (they had 2000 to give away) at their Selfridges Counter. I live and work far away from Oxford Circus but I was lucky to be attending a work meeting in Cavendish Square (6 mins walk from Selfridges). I was delighted because I just popped in to Selfridges before my meeting to pick up this lovely Chubby Stick in Curvy Candy. Would you believe there was a massive queue even though I was there quite early in the morning?.  I was shown how to use it by one of the sales ladies and I quite like the shade. She used a concealer over my lips first before this and it looked much vibrant than without a concealer. It is a light pink shade which looks really subtle and understated on my skin. I really like it for minimal makeup days. It was really lovely but I had to dash off to my meeting. That's all folks. I love drug store makeup and these days they have been releasing really good products. What have you been buying recently? See you in my next post....xx

Drugstore Haul (Boots Edition)

A Boots haul never eludes me because I am surrounded by two really large Boots (near my office and house) so I am always spoilt for choice. It also means I have gotten used to Boots so much that I have been in a few times and came out with absolutely nothing (very shocking!). Well, that's what happens when you have too much of a good thing!. However, they sent me a double points card in the mail to celebrate my birthday so all the purchases I made this January had double points. They sure know how to tempt a girl. I bought a few things which I may have already shown on the blog but I thought it would be nice to do a little round up.

Nail Care
I am not sure what's been going on with my nails but they look a little worse for wear and I don't even wear fake nails so I can't blame it on that. I am suspecting my nail polish remover so I may have to switch to a better formula. I decided to purchase some nail care that would help my nails get back to their usual healthy state. I opted for the Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition Strength which has Green Tea and Bamboo (weird combo) and it has really helped my nails. It applies just like a normal base coat and leaves my nails glossy and healthy looking. I also purchased the Boots Nail Growth Activator which I hope will help my nails grow or at least prevent it from being brittle. I have not really noticed any growth per say but I think together with the Sally Hansen formula, my nails have improved. Lastly, I picked up two more Barry M Nail Polishes in Ballerina and Almond (Gelly Hi-Shine Formula), I love Barry M Nail Polishes and I am building a small collection already. Funny thing is I prefer the normal formula to the Gelly Hi Shine formula; no idea why. I love the colours I chose as they are really simple and chic.

Body Care and Skin Care
I particularly love Boots for their 3 for 2 offers on skincare and body care products and I rarely ever buy them at full price. I have had my eyes on the Soap and Glory Rich and Famous Body/Shower Wash for a while and I decided to finally pick it up. It smells delicious, seriously, you would be tempted to eat/drink it. Why is this so? Well, it is made up of a sweet mixture of Almond, Oats, Brown Sugar and a host of other lovely ingredients. I love the way it smells and it makes me look forward to taking a shower even when I don't need to. The best feature is the pump and I find it really useful in the shower. It lathers really well on a Loofah/Sponge and it's also great for a bath although you may want to opt for something with a little more lather. It's just beautiful #endof. I also picked up an old favourite: Simple Kind to Skin Wipes which I really like because it just has the right moisture level to take off my makeup before I go in with my cleanser. There's not much to say really but it's still remains one of my favourite wipes followed by the Botanics Brightening Wipes. Lastly, I picked up this travel size Femfresh Daily Intimate Wash which I love mostly because I love travel sized products and they are so cute. I know many people have various opinions about using VJ washes but I love and use them. This little tube is really handy for travelling and it's much better than lugging around the full size. It's actually really hard to find this mini size and this was actually the last one on the shelf which shows how popular it is or maybe it's just me thinking it is.

Makeup
Surprisingly, I did not go really crazy in Boots, in fact,I think I have been very good. As mentioned earlier, I have popped into Boots and Superdrug on a number of occasions and came out empty handed. I am getting to the point where I think I have enough at the moment. Of course, that can change immediately hot new releases hit the shelves...only time will tell!! I picked up the Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 03 which has been touted as a dupe for MAC Velvet Teddy. I am putting together a dupe post soon so we will find out then. I am really impressed with the Kate Moss range and this is the first one I am trying. The packaging is beautiful and classy (I have a weakness for black sleek packaging) and the formula applies really well with a moderate lasting power. I would describe the shade as a dusty/brownish pink lipstick with a lustre finish which I really like. I also picked up a backup of my L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim which is amazing as always and I can never get enough of it. I added two more Maybelline Color Tattoos to my little collection and I am just in love with this range. I got the Creamy Beige which allegedly has a Leather Effect although I have not noticed it yet and I don't really mind. This shade works well as a base for many eyeshadows but particularly for Light Bronze, Pewter and Champagne eyeshadows in my Lorac Pro Palette. I can finally give my On and On Bronze a well deserved break because I have used it consistently almost every day. The other shade I picked up was the Eternal Gold and I am a little on the fence with this one only because it does not apply as smoothly as the Creamy Beige. It appears to have some tiny particles (I am sure it is part of its shimmer or "metal" effect) but I find that applying it with my fingers makes it much better than with my tiny brush. That's all for my haul. What have you bought from Boots or any Drugstore recently? See you in my next post....xx

Boots Botanics Range Review

Boots has always been one of my favourite stores to shop in and the truth is I am surrounded by Boots Stores. There is a large Boots about 3 minutes from my office and another really large Boots approx 4 minutes away from my house so it is such a blessing and a curse. A blessing because I always get good deals 'cos  I get there on time and a curse because a good amount of my money is spent there...Oh well!! Another reason why I love Boots is their Boots Botanics Range. I am not 100% sure it is all organic and natural but a good percentage of the ingredients are derived from plants and natural derivatives so it is good enough for me. They always try to promote their range by giving out extra Boots points when you purchase products from the Botanics range and that's one of the ways I discovered a few amazing products from the range that are worth adding to your next shopping/wish list.

Cleansing Toner All Bright
I bought this because it contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) derived from the Hibiscus plant/flower which has natural brightening properties. I ran out of my beloved Pixi Glow Tonic so I decided to try this out for a while and I love this although it is nowhere near as effective as the Pixi Glow Tonic but it is a good cleansing toner as it lifts off any impurities off the face after double cleansing and refreshes the skin instantly. I can’t say I have seen any marked differences in terms of brightening but it is very refreshing and its texture and colour is a little similar  to the Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Toner although this is a little bit more liquid-y.

Microdermabrasion Polish
I think this may have been the first product I tried from their range and it is a hybrid between a mud mask and a micro scrub.  It looks like a clay/mud mask but with very tiny particles which help slough away dead skin and I use this once a week or anytime I feel my skin needs a nice little scrub. Due to the tiny size of the particles, it exfoliates the skin gently and it is not abrasive at all. It contains Gingko which helps improve the appearance of the skin. My skin feels much better and cleaner when I use this although it is quite difficult to remove as some tiny particles still manage to get left behind on my face or maybe I have not found the best way to remove this as I currently take it off with either warm water or a damp flannel/muslin cloth.

Refreshing Eye Roll-on:
Ladies (and gents!!), say goodbye to puffy under eye circles! this is my best purchase from the whole range as it is effective and you can see an immediate improvement. I would call this an eye cream/serum with a twist because it comes with a roller blade which is ever so cool on the eye and relieves puffy or dodgy looking under eyes and makes you feel more awake. It contains an extract from Hibiscus plant which helps brighten the under eye and I don’t really have dark or prominent under eye circles but this has made an impression on me because it works. A few weeks back, I was having very short nights due to some deadlines at work so my eyes were naturally very unsightly. This made all the difference because the roller blade has a cooling effect that instantly lifts up my under eye, moisturises it and soothes it. I can’t really sing its praises enough and it is so handy and non-messy because it does not come in a tub where you have to dip your fingers into it.

Cleansing Face Wipes:
My favourite face wipes hands down is the Simple Kind to Skin wipes but let’s face it, there are quite pricey when they are not on offer although there are usually on offer. Naturally, I was on the lookout for a wipe that delivered all I wanted and was affordable. Enter the Boots Botanic Cleansing Face Wipes. It is amazing and it is not too moist or dry at all. I have used some wipes that are pretty frustrating because they are too moist and sometimes too dry but this is perfect. Plus it is affordable and I don’t have to use more than one because it does the job so well. I hope you have had some insight on some products from the Boots Botanics range which you may want to try in the future.See you in my next post...x

SK:N Vitamin Rich Cleanser for Oily Skin (review)

Hey My Lovelies,
You all know I have been on the hunt for very good skin as my skin is not where I want it to be at the moment. Anyways, the SK:N Vitamin Rich Cleanser is an old favourite of mine and I have no idea why i stopped using it. I bought it first sometime in 2011 when I still lived in Manchester after watching Patricia from PatriciaBright (aka BritPopprincess) on Youtube recommend it because it contains Glycolic Acid. After it ran out, I just moved on to other skin care products and i found it was not readily available in many stores. Fast forward in 2013, I really wanted to try it out and I checked in all the Boots stores around me but it was nowhere to be seen. I was desperate and cross so much so that I had to start ringing the Boots store until I was told I could only get it on Bond Street. Lucky for me, it's quite close to my office so i sauntered in there during my lunch break and this baby landed into my hands. End of my Tantrums...:-)

Packaging
Although the packaging is nothing fancy, I like how clean and simple it looks. I am beginning to think I like the combination of white and blue; I have no idea why but I recently noticed most of skin care products on my bathroom cabinet are white and blue. It has an outer cap which gives way to the inner cap that allows the product come through. I secretly wish it had a pump as it would have been easier to dispense as opposed to fiddling with the top cap but it’s not too bad.

Formulation
It does not have my usual "all natural genetic makeup" which i prefer  in skin care products but I love the active ingredients which are included that help in its efficacy. Topping the list is its Glycolic Acid(2%) content which aids in exfoliating the skin and encouraging cell renewal. If you have hyper pigmentation, you will find that , glycolic acid which is an AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) is a natural derivative from Sugar Cane, can aid in fading these dark marks with time. (Read: with time as it takes dedication, patience and time; it’s definitely not a quick fix). It also contains Vitamins A,C and E hence the name Vitamin Rich which are all essential vitamins for the skin as Vitamin A contains retinol which also encourages skin cells renewal, Vitamin C which  helps brighten the skin and is a powerful anti-oxidant and Vitamin E which improves the appearance of the skin. It also contains Primrose Oil which is useful for maintaining vitality of the skin. It is essential to the wear sunscreen, even in the winter, when using products that contain either Vitamin C or Glycolic Acid as they make the skin more sensitive to sunlight which will further darken any pigmentation you may have

Application
I use this every day; in the morning and night and I think it is one of the easiest cleansers I have used in a while. I do my double cleansing with my wipes or Bioderma. I wet my face a little, take some of the cleanser and massage my face gently in circular motions. I use my Boots No 7 Cleanser brush (review here) to cleanse and massage my face and rinse off before proceeding with the rest of my skin care routine.

Results
The first thing I noticed is how soft my face feels after using it. I have used many cleansers including gel-like ones and sometimes they strip my skin off all the oil which is not particularly good as it also messes with the PH of your skin which is crucial to prevent bacterial growth/acne/all baddies. I have not experienced any stripping with this cleanser and my skin’s oil balance is perfect immediately after using it. There is no associated faux drying and my face does not feel tight at all and I really like that. If anything, it really makes it feel soft. In terms of clearing my hyper pigmentation, I have seen a marked difference in the first month of using it which is down to its content of Glycolic Acid . As with many products, I have not really seen much difference after using it for more than two months (i guess it's the law of diminishing returns setting in) probably because my skin has gotten used to this cleanser which is why i think it’s time to rotate or switch.

Cost
I got this with a deal in Boots which was offering 3 for 2 on all SK:N skin care products so I didn't actually pay the full price for it kinda. I think normally it costs £11 and it comes in this 200 ml container which has lasted me for just under 3 months so it is totally worth it. I think it should even last longer; it’s just that sometimes I dispense a little more than I need. I would suggest you wait till Boots have a deal on them to purchase it if you are not desperate as it always works out cheaper and you can also stock up on other SK:N products.

Cons
My major annoyance is that it is not readily available in many Boots. I had to go all the way to the one in Oxford/Bond Street in London to get it. So, you can either buy it online or in a really large Boots. I remember the Boots in Manchester Market Street actually had it so if you live in Manchester, you can pop down there. It is also available at the SK:N clinics which are in some parts of the UK so it is worth checking out their website. I also wish it had a pump so I can dispense this easily but that's not really a major con though!!

Verdict
Again, this is one of my favourite cleansers because it feels really good on my skin and I have not experienced any adverse effects. I will definitely give it a rest for now while I explore other cleansers which may be effective as well. I will definitely go back in a few months. If you have oily skin prone to Acne, this is one cleanser you may want to try as it has been very beneficial to my skin. I hope you have enjoyed this post and I will see you in my next post...x

Boots No 7 Cleansing Brush Review

Hi My Lovelies,
I am quite surprised that I have not posted the review of this cleansing brush despite having it for over two months*gasps* Well, if you live in England, I am pretty sure you may have heard of the Boots No 7 Cleansing Brush which is basically a cleansing brush for the face to rid it from all kinds of impurities, dirt and makeup. I have had my eyes on the Clarisonic Cleansing System for years but it's quite expensive  and although I am not one to spare the pennies when it comes to skin care, the Clarisonic is still out of my budget. I have always seen the No 7 Cleansing Brush in Boots but I was not convinced. Towards the end of last year, my skin was playing up a little and I decided to close my eyes and purchase this brush. I convinced myself that I needed to try out a cheaper alternative to the Clarisonic Mia if I eventually decided to purchase it.

Packaging
It's a pretty simple packaging which houses the Cleansing Brush itself, a brush head, two batteries and a manual. Nothing too fancy and it also comes with a 2 years warranty which I think is a good touch . The brush in itself is a good size for the average hand which is fantastic as I don't want to be lugging around something heavy across my face every day. The battery section is well protected with a clasp which prevents water from getting into the batteries. It also has one switch for the two settings: Slow (normal cleansing) and Fast (Deep cleansing) and it powers it off and on as well so you can say that button is pretty much multi-functional.

Boots Says:
Boots says this clever cleansing brush gently exfoliates and deeply cleanses the skin getting rid of dirt, makeup and oil much more efficiently than the normal cleansing with your hands will do and I absolutely agree with them. My face feels really clean and soft and it is very easy to use.

Application
I use this with my favourite cleanser which is the SK:N Vitamin Rich Cleanser for Oily Skin and they are amazing together. I always do the double cleanse which is simply removing my makeup  initially with a cleansing wipe (I use Simple Skincare Wipes) or Bioderma (Micellar water)  before going in with my cleanser. Next, I dampen my face with some water, wet the brush with some water, massage my cleanser on my face (not the brush unless you want it splashing everywhere), switch the button and cleanse across my face. I do each section for approx 20 seconds starting with my cheeks, forehead and chin. I am usually done within a minute or so. I wash my brush off any makeup and rinse my face. Viola!!! I do this everyday and night. Some people only use this every other day or a few days in a week but I have used mine twice a day and my skin has been loving it.

Cost
It cost about £24.95 and I actually purchased it for that amount without any discount which is really strange or shows how desperate I was at the time I got it. Normally, I would always wait for any discounts and Boots is very good with their £5 Vouchers off  No 7 Skin Care. They sometimes even offer 3 for 2 on their range which makes this brush even cheaper. If you want to buy this and you are not desperate, it's best to wait till they have their offers on so you can get it cheaper.

Results
I saw a difference to my face after the first use. Yes, I am never one to believe in hypes of products but it is so true. Before this brush when I was using my hands only for cleansing, there was always a residue of makeup still left when I used my cotton pad and toner. Now, not a single trace of makeup is left and it is truly amazing!! It really does take off every makeup with it rotating brush action which Boots claim cleans 4 times better than just using your mere fingers/hands to cleanser. My skin feels very soft and smooth to touch and I cannot imagine not using this any time I wear makeup. Even when I don't wear makeup, I still love to use it as it also feels like a mini spa and massage to my face. The most amazing difference I have seen is with my blemishes/hyper pigmentation which has started fading thanks to this brush, the Dr Organic Vitamin E range (already reviewed here) and the SK:N Vitamin Rich Cleanser with Glycolic Acid (review up soon). This brush facilitates fading away these dark blemishes by encouragin exfoliation of the skin around the hyper pigmentation which encourages cell renewal and regeneration of new skin. It also prevents me from breakouts which have been caused by makeup residue still left on my skin when I was just using my hands for cleansing.

Cons
1. It does not have a rechargeable battery so you have to buy batteries for it at least every two months or so if you use it everyday.
2. It does not have a stand which means you have to leave it lying down either on a towel or wherever you like
3. Still along point 2, the brush head does not have a cover which means it is exposed and can attract dust and germs flying around if you leave it as it is.
4. It is not readily available in many countries; I think you can buy it in the USA but I am not sure where else it can be bought apart from online assuming the shipping is ok.
5. Still on its limited availability; the brush heads are also not readily available in fact some smaller Boots don't even stock it which is pretty annoying.
6. Some people may feel the bristles of the brushes are a little obtrusive to their skin especially those with sensitive skin.

Verdict
Despite all the cons listed above, this has to be one of my favourite purchases in 2013 and I adore this brush and it has made a massive difference to the skin on my face. I always look forward to using this brush every day; it's like my little spa/relaxation time. Also, the rotating action is very good in promoting blood circulation to the skin cells around the face which in turn promotes cell turn over and leaves the skin looking plump and smooth. I will definitely repurchase this if it ever gets damaged or maybe I can try out the Clarisonic when I have saved up more. See you in my next post.. .x
